BHARATIYA INSTITUTE OF HUMAN EXCELLENCE
On 14th April, 2009 we left the guest house at Harsil and came on the Harsil-Gangotri route waiting for a lift.  The weather was very pleasant even in the sun.  A small rivulet flowing across the road coming from a icy pick mountain close by.  We physically went into the water flow and played for a while reenjoying our childhood days.  After some time we found a tempo going to Gangotri with some goods and it stopped on seeing our raised hands.  The driver agreed to drop us at Gangotri in exchange of Rs. 100.  It was a good offer and immediately we boarded the tempo and our journey to Gangotri reached the final stage. We reached Gangotri around 1.30 p.m.  We proceded towards Gangotri temple to find a place to stay as whole area was deserted except a few police manning the area.  We had to show our ID's before they allowed us to enter the temple area.  The temple was being painted and a supervising priest was present.  He directed us to Dharmasala where we could be put up for two nights.
